Swim Team Parent Support Group (STPSG)
Next Meeting - Wednesday, February 27th @ 5:30pm - Community Y Board Room

What is the Parent Support Group?
A coalition of parents who desire their child's swim team to be the very best it can be and support swim team activities in an effort to create a successful activity for Marshalltown youth. This is a way for you as parents to serve your children and model service to others.  Together as a committed group we get much done for the Blue Wave Swim Team that postively affects the Marshalltown and surrounding communities. Want to know what a group of dedicated people can accomplish when they come together with a common goal and interest?  Come to a Blue Wave swim meet at the Commuity Y Competitive Swim Natatorium and you'll see the difference!

What have has the STPSG done in the past?
Run swim meets, host the Iowa YMCA state swim meet for 4 consecutive years, purchased equipment for the program, hired a full time swim coach, installed a 22 foot full video projection TV system, purchased electronics, designed this web site, sold advertising, and much more...

What will you gain?
Friendships, knowledge and the satisfaction of knowing you've made a difference in your loved one's activities.  You'll be a voice behind, in and throughout the swimming scenes!

What we ask from involved persons?
A little committment, one meeting per month, offer your talents, volunteerism, raise funds as an enabler for the team, THINK REALLY BIG and have FUN!
